What is the Wisconsin Well Woman Program?
The Wisconsin Well Woman Program (WWWP) provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings for women who have little or no health insurance. The program is offered in all 72 Wisconsin counties and through 11 tribal health agencies.
Covered Services Include:
- Clinical breast exams
- Diagnostic testing if your screening test results are abnormal
- Human papillomavirus (HPV) tests
- Mammograms (breast cancer screening)
- Multiple sclerosis testing for those who are high risk
- Pap tests (cervical cancer screening)
**Note: Not all services are available at every medical provider. You must use a medical provider in the program.
You do not have to pay a Co-payment, Deductible or Premium.
You may qualify for this program if you:
- Are a woman between ages 40 and 64
- Live in Wisconsin
- Do not have health insurance, or have insurance that does not cover routine check-ups and screenings
- Are unable to afford your deductible or co-pays
- Meet the program’s income requirements (shown below)

How to Apply
Enrollment services for Buffalo County residents are handled via a multi-county coordinating agency serving Buffalo, Crawford, La Crosse, Monroe, and Vernon counties.
