Demolition Materials (Construction/Building Materials Waste)  Disposal is available at BBC & M Recycling Center in Cochrane and the City of Mondovi Recycling site.  The Town and Village of Nelson do not accept demolition material.  Prices may vary, please contact site for cost.

Ag & Household Hazardous Waste 


Buffalo County holds a “Clean Sweep” event every two years, with the next one anticipated in 2025. These clean sweeps are for Ag and Household Hazardous Waste. Residents and farmers in Buffalo County can bring their materials to the collection site at no cost.


La Crosse County has a Hazardous Materials Facility that is open year-round and available for Buffalo County residents to use. Fees apply, their information is listed below.
