SUBJECT: Advertisement for Bid
The Buffalo County Highway Department is soliciting quotations (bids) for two (2) bridge packages.
Bridge one, all timber structure, 22’ span with 26’ clear width, to be delivered on County Trunk Highway AA
in the Town of Modena.
Bridge two, timber structure with steel piles, 28’ span with 28’ clear width, to be delivered on County Trunk
Highway E in the Town of Waumandee.
Both bridges are locally managed projects, and being partially funded through the Wisconsin Dept. of
Transportation Local Road Improvement - Supplemental Program, with the remaining costs funded by
Buffalo County.
For more specific information on the structure size, environmental details, and special provisions, please contact
the Buffalo County Highway Commissioner. Quotations (bids) must be submitted to the Buffalo County Highway
Commissioner, S1672 State Road 37, Alma, WI 54610 no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday February 9, 2023. Bids to
be awarded at the Highway Committee Meeting, 8:00 a.m., February 14, 2023.
