The University of Wisconsin - Extension would like to announce the 2015 Drug/Medication Waste Collection Day. On Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) there will be an opportunity for residents of Buffalo County to properly dispose of prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications. The collection location will be at the Buffalo County Courthouse, 407 S. 2nd Street, Alma, WI 54610. You may bring pills/capsules, ointments/creams, non-aerosol sprays, liquids, and patches. Please do not bring illegal drugs, bio hazardous materials, inhalers, thermometers, needles/sharps, or personal care products (soap, lotion, sunscreen, etc.).
This program is a cooperative effort between the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the Buffalo County UW-Extension, and the Buffalo County Sheriffs Department.
